WALKING AWAY

My wife was admitted to a hospital for two weeks. Every day, I parked my vehicle nearby at this reservoir car park, and then walk to the hospital.

One of that day, I took a stroll through the reservoir park instead of heading to the hospital straight, just to look out if there is anything interesting for photo taking.

I saw this lamppost view, against the soft back-light of the sky, not too harsh, it struck an immediate connection and I wished so much my camera is with me.

I came back again with my camera the same time next day, no drama, no suspense here, the light and weather was still very much the same, simple and enchanting, a jogger passed by, and this scene frozen.
